Aperture Cards Usages for You Now

Documents larger than A4 (such as A3, B4, and double letter) can be scanned with the ScanSnap using the optional transparency. Insert a document folded in half into the transparency and scan it to automatically merge the images on both sides of the document. In case of the Aperture cards this is very true.

·        Note that you can load multiple transparencies to scan them simultaneously with the ScanSnap.

·        Open the ADF paper chute (cover) of the ScanSnap to turn it on.

·        Opening the ADF paper chute (cover)

·        Extend the ADF paper chute extension and delivery tray (cover).

·        Extension deployment

·        Configure the settings for a profile.

·        Click the [Scan] button in the upper left corner of the ScanSnap Home Main Window to display the Scan Window.

Windows

·        If the main window is not already displayed, see Displaying the Main Window.

·        When you create a profile click on Add profiles.

·        From the list of templates in the [Add New Profile] Window that appears when you click Add profiles, select a template profile and change the settings.

·        From the list of profiles, select a profile whose settings you want to change.

If you specify [Auto Select] in the [Paper Size] section, an optimum size is automatically selected from the standard sizes available in [Paper Size]. Note that depending on the document, the image size may be reduced from that of the original document.

When [Automatically detects the document type "Documents", "Business Cards", "Receipts" or "Photos" and scans the document with the appropriate scan settings] is selected for [Document type detection] in the settings for a profile, document type detection may fail if the size of an image to be saved is smaller than the document size.

If the scanned document type is different from that of the content data record displayed in the main window of ScanSnap Home, change the document type of the content data record.
